Services Provided:

  • Supported the improved governance at Georgia’s natural gas transmission owner and single buyer (GOGC) and transmission system operator (GGTC).
  • Supporting the Georgian regulator in implementing the Uniform System of Accounts for the natural gas sector
  • Analyzed options and provided recommendations for using cross-border trading (CBT) to increase domestic competition in the natural gas sector including the use of virtual reverse flow contracts with European gas companies.
  • Assessment and recommendation to modify Georgia’s Natural Gas Balancing Rules
  • Developed entry-exit tariff methodology for the North-South gas pipeline
  • Prepared list of functions and described each function for the natural gas TSO’s in Poland, Bulgaria and Latvia to support the certification of the natural gas TSO in Georgia
