IED consulting was appointed to carry out an assessment of a renewable energy company. The owners of Tsaghkhavan hydropower plant (HPP) proposed to sell their shares in the renewable energy company.
Services Provided:
Legal and Regulatory Assessment – Reviewed and commented on the license, water permit, PPA, land rights, equipment leasing agreements, and other legal documents. Reviewed the shareholding of the company.
Environmental Compliance – Reviewed the plant structures and operations for compliance with environmental rules including minimum flows in the river and fish bypass regulations.
Technical Assessment – Reviewed all equipment at the plant, reviewed operating records and production of electricity, maintenance records, etc. Examined the intake, pipe, substation, power house and discharge.
Financial Assessment – Reviewed all financial statement for the past three years including source documents (trial balance) for each month. Projected income statement and cash flows for 10 years
